Jordanian Calls
For Conference
Washington (JTA) — Jor-
dan's Prime Minister Zeid
Rifai stressed Tuesday that
Jordan still views an interna-
tional conference that in-
cludes the five permanent
members of the United Na-
tions Security Council as a
means to negotiate Middle
East peace.
Rifai was apparently giving
a different explanation for
Jordan's need for a peace con-
ference than that stated by
King Hussein since last year.
