Names Winners
Adat Shalom Synagogue
announced Marsha and Mar-
vin Trimas were the first
prize winners in the
synagogue's recent Purim
celebration.
Other winners were: Lynda
and Ron Charfoos, second
prize; Wah Yee, third prize;
Mrs. William Schmittel,
fourth prize; Jean and Sam
Frankel, fifth prize; and
Trudy and Arthur Weiss,
sixth prize.
Proceeds raised by the cel-
ebration will go for a new
roof for the synagogue.
Planning committee mem-
bers included: Herman Can-
ner, Sharon Hart, Norman
Allan, Irwin Alterman, Joel
Gershenson, Terran and
Roger Leemis, Leonard
Siegal, Ralph Woronoff and
Neal Zalenko.
JPI To Hold
Community Seder
The Jewish Parents Insti-
tute will hold its annual
Passover Seder, noon Sunday,
in Shiffman Hall of the
Jewish Community Center,
West Bloomfield. The cele-
bration will include a reading
of the JPI Haggadah, music
and Israeli dancing.
There is a charge. For re-
servations call the JPI office,
661-1000, ext. 333.
Family Service
Cong. Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses will hold a late family
worship service at 8 p.m. to-
day. Rabbi A. Irving Schnip-
per will conduct the service
and Cantor Ben-Zion Lanx-
ner will chant the liturgy. An
Oneg Shabbat will follow the
service. Everyone is invited.
`Mission' Reviewed
Rabbi Sherwin Wine will
review The Mission by Robert
Bolt at the next Monday
Forum at 8:30 p.m. April 20
at the Birmingham Temple.
There is an admission charge,
and non-members are invited.
