The dinner, honoring Sen. Carl Levin and Congressman Sander Levin, will take place on May 31 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, Dearborn. A past chairman of the Al- lied Jewish Campaign, Mon- dry has held numerous posi- tions with the Jewish Wel- fare Federation and other community organizations. He also has served on the board of Sinai Hospital and Detroit Service Group. Gov. James J. Blanchard has accepted the post of hon- orary chairman for this af- fair. The Scopus Award is the highest award that the American Friends can confer on an individual. In preparation for the Seder, the children have made Seder plates, cen- terpieces and matzah covers. More than 350 children, par- ents and grandparents are expected to attend.
