The first will be held at Cen- tral Michigan University, at the Bovee Student Center at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The second will be held at Michigan State University, at 402 Lin- den, East Lansing, at 8:15 p.m. Monday. The programs will include a lecture on "Building Structure within Chaos," which will be a philosophical analysis of Passover and its relevance to contemporary times. This will be followed by a discussion on the laws and customs of the Seder which will serve as a guided tour through the pages of the Haggadah. Elected Student Assembly President 4 i f "Holocaust and Genocide ... A Remembrance" is the title of an all-day program Wednesday, in Wayne State University's McGregor Memorial Conference Center. Stefan Kanfer, senior editor of Time magazine, will speak at 1 p.m. about the Gypsies and the Holocaust. Richard Hovannisian, pro- fessor of history and associate director of the Center for Near Eastern Studies at UCLA, will talk about the Armenian genocide at 10:30 a.m. An exhibit and films are also scheduled. There is a charge for lunch, but the rest of the program is open to the public at no charge. The Students First Party, which he heads, took 22 of 24 seats up for election. Weine is a junior, majoring in political science. He was first elected as a representa- tive to MBA in his sophomore year. He is the son of David and Esther Weine of Farmington Hills. Emanu-El Nursery Expands Program Temple Emanu-El Nursery School is opening a second kindergarten class to accom- modate those interested in enrolling. in either the half- day licensed academic pro- gram or full day kindergar- ten, offering both an aca- demic and enrichment seg- ment. Enrollments are now being accepteed for the 1987 88 school year, for the kinder- garten, as well as the school's regular nursery programs, including a Diaper Detail class, full- and half-day nur- sery school, P r e- Kindergarten, and Parent- Toddler program. The school offers an op- tional lunch program as well as extended care.
