A Moot Court Winner

Denise Franklin of Hun-
tington Woods was among
the winners of the University
of Michigan Law School's
Henry M. Campbell Moot
Court Competition.
Members of her team were
Judi Lamble of Chicago, Scott
Sinder of Akron, Ohio, and
Craig Sumberg of Walpole,
Mass.
A five-member mock Sup-
reme Court heard the stu-
dents' arguments on the
"Constitutionality of Search-
ing High School Students'
Lockers."
Judging the competition,
which began in October and
culminated with an awards
program March 11, were U.S.
Supreme Court Justice
William Brennan, U.S. Ap-
pellate Court Judge Deanell
Reece Tacha, University of
Michigan Law School Dean
Terrance Sandalow and Uni-

versity of Michigan law pro-
fessor Theodore St. Antoine.

Physics Prof
Speaks At WSU

Dr. Bill Beres, professor of
physics at Wayne State Uni-
versity, will speak on "Keep-
ing Your Jewish Identity at
College" in room 261-A, the
Student Center Building, at
noon Thursday.
There will be refreshments.
Admission is free.
