Matzah Factory
Open At Center

The Jewish Community
Center and the Bais Chabad
Lubavitch Centers of West
Bloomfield and Farmington
Hills again set up a matzah
factory at the main Jewish
Community Center. It will
run daily except Fridays and
Saturdays, now until April 7.
All religious schools, com-
munity groups, nursery
schools and individual
families are invited to par-
ticipate in this "hands-on"
workshop: Each participant
will receive a baker's hat, a
piece of "shmurah" matzah,
the piece of matzah he/she
made, and some literature
describing the Passover holi-
day and observances.
Each participant will make
his/her own piece of matzah
from the mixing of the flour
and water to seeing it put in
the oven. A short video will
be shown describing how the
unleavened matzahs are
made at a real "shmurah"
bakery.
Reservations for groups
and families are required.
There is a fee for partici-
pants. Call Jo Green, 661-
1000, ext. 344, for reserva-
tions.
