feel that suntanning is a
complication in preserving the
effects of a cosmetic procedure.
"Plastic surgery does not stop
the clock," says Dr. Argenta.
"The aging process just
continues from that point. It's all
right to come back again for more
work — as long as the
expectations remain
reasonable."
Dr. Kapetansky believes even
more vigorously in the benefits,
even if they need to be repeated.
"Sometimes, especially with
menopausal women whose skin
tends to loose elasticity, you need
more than one operation to get
the optimal result.
"There is no such thing as a
face-lift 'falling-apart.' They don't
fall apart in ten years' time. You
are always better off for having
done the surgery," Dr.
Kapetansky believes. ❑
