TOPS
Skin. Cut-away and
off-the-shoulder tops are popular.
Tank tops. Halter tops.

percent cotton sweaters and
sleeveless tops also. Hersh's has
some Art Deco inspired
sweaters.

PANTS
Wider pants are in style. Pants
are softer and wider with
lightweight fabrics.

SWIM SUITS
Roslyn Rock of Roslyn's
Intimate Apparel has a complete
line of Gottex bathing suits.
"Summer 1987 has styles that
range from all-revealing to mostly
concealing," notes Roslyn. Some
of the stunning Gottex suits have
playful polka dots on red or black.
The jungle motifs are bright and
bold, and the snakeskin prints
shimmer with metallics.
Begadim carries an exclusive
line of Gideon Oberson bathing
suits. These suits are often seen
on the "Dynasty" television
program. One grouping has
sequins. Other styles have bold
colors on a black background.
Turquoise and peach are shown
also. According to owner Lea
Beurer, what sets his swimwear
apart from the others is the use of
Italian lyrca. "It (bathing suit)
doesn't sag when you get out of
the water. It's extremely
flattering. He exposes the best
part of anyone."

EVENING CLOTHES
The fabrics of chiffon, organza
and lace teamed with ruffles and
frills make exquisite evening
gowns. At Naomi's, two stunning
navy gowns use beads and
rhinestones combined with
netting and pouf for a new
statement. "Navy is tres chic,"
states owner Naomi Lippa.
Also at Naomi's were many
strapless evening dresses and
some with the stylish bubble
bottom in red taffeta. Another
