Ture explained that many large
women are anxious to wear
dresses again, but are so
accustomed to wearing slacks or
a skirt with a big over-top, that
they forget how important lingerie
is to enhancing how clothes look.
"The large woman is learning
to dress again — to be feminine,"
Ture said. "Wearing the right kind
of slip in the right color is
important to a look, as well as
getting the right fit for a girdle and
bra. To be professional and smart
looking, no matter how elegant
the dress, you can't have your slip
showing."
Most people dealing with large
size clothing agree that the
manufacturers are doing a good
job. There is an abundance of
sophisticated suits and dresses
to choose from, especially for the
working woman who has created
her own special market.
The fabrics this season are
outstanding and very practical.
