BUG SPRAY — He might
never use it. Then again, he might
save his entire bunk from being
eaten alive by a swarm of
mosquitoes.
SELF-ADDRESSED AND
STAMPED ENVELOPES OR
POSTCARDS — How else do
you expect to hear from your busy
camper?
SLEEPING BAG — Forget the
cutesy "carebear" sleeping bags
and opt for the Eddie Bauer style.
Your camper will be glad to have
something warm to snuggle into
around the campfire. Be sure to
buy only washable bags, even if
they cost a little more. After two or
three dry cleaning bills, you would
be able to buy a new bag.
LAUNDRY BAG — An old
pillow case might do; a white
canvas bag with ties will hold
even more. The bag and the
laundry can be thrown into the
washer.
ONE NICE OUTFIT
Depending on the camp's
itinerary, there might be a special
day "in town" or a special dance
that will require one clean,
civilized outfit.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT
Tennis racket, baseball mit, riding
boots, etc.

TOLIETRY BAG OR BUCKET
Include all the requisite items:
a drinking cup, soap and soap
dish, toothpaste, toothbrush and
hairbush. But don't be surprised if
your first time camper greets you
after his three week stay with this
remark, "Hey, Mom and Dad! I
didn't brush my teeth for 15
