COUNCIL will have a recep-
tion at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday
in the B'nai B'rith Building,
preceding the delegates meet-
ing. The reception will be
hosted by the Barristers
Unit. The meeting will begin
at 7:30 p.m.

CHAPTER invites members

Wednesday, at Knob Woods
club house. There is a charge.
Rabbi Allan M. Blustein of
Sinai Hospital will speak on
"Traditions of Passover." A
Passover kit will be pre-
sented by members. Passover
recipes will be exchanged.

To Head Annual Dinner

dinator of Sinai Hospital's
"Lifeline." President Dorothy
Storchan urges all members
to bring in their "white
elephants" and paperback
and hardcover books for a fu-

Marcy Feldman and Dr.
Harris Mainster have been
named dinner chairmen for
the Jewish Theological Semi-
nary of America Centennial
Community-Wide Dinner to
be held June 10 at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek.
Harold Berry is general
chairman for the event salut=
ing local community leaders
on behalf of the seminary.
Dr. Ismar Schorsch, new sem-
inary chancellor, will be the
guest speaker.
Feldman is vice president
of the Women's Division for
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion; a board member of the
Jewish Community Center
and Resettlement Service;
and a member of the Federa-
tion of Human Resources De-
velopment Committee. She
also is a member of Cong.
Shaarey Zedek and a life
member of Hadassah and the
National Council of Jewish
Women. She is a recipient in
1985 of the Sylvia Simon
Greenberg Young Leadership
Award.
Dr. Mainster is a certified
surgeon from the American
Osteopathic Association and
is a member and Fellow of
the American College of Sur-
geons. He is a senior coun-
sulting staff surgeon, and
chairman of the department
of surgery at Botsford Gen-
eral Hospital and is an asso-
ciate clinical professor of
surgery at Michigan State
University, College of Osteo-
pathic Medicine.
He is on the board of direc-
tors of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center, Hillel Day
