- The board of directors of
the Detroit Committee for the
Weizmann Institute of Sci-
ence will have an open board
meeting at 7 p.m. March 30
in the home of Dr. Joseph
and Nancy Jacobson.
Guest at the meeting will
be Dr. Lee A. Segel, dean of
the faculty of mathematical
sciences at the Weizmann In-
stitute of Science.
A native of Boston, Dr.
Segel was educated at Har-
vard and M.I.T. He joined the
staff of the institute after
making aliyah in 1973. He
holds the Henry and Bertha
Benson Chair of math-
ematics.

Interfaith Event
At Delta College

Delta College in University
Center, Mich., (between Bay
City and Midland) will be the
scene of a Christian-Jewish
dialogue on Thursday.
Speakers will be Dr.
Eugene Fisher, director of
Catholic-Jewish Relations for
the National Conference of
Catholic Bishops, and Rabbi
Harold I. Saperstein, past
president of the New York
Board of Rabbis and retired
rabbi of Temple Emanu-El in
Lynbrook, Ohio.
Dr. Fisher will speak on
"Issues and Opportunities in
Christian-Jewish Dialogue."
Rabbi Saperstein will speak
on "The New Testament from
a Jewish Perspective."
