attorney, married and living in
Chicago, is an art aficionado
and museum expert. Daughter
Cara graduated from Michigan
State University with a BS de-
gree in psychology, and shortly
thereafter, went to London to
study with Vidal Sassoon.
Cara also is an accomplished
vocalist. Gail, a sophomore at
the University of Michigan, is
an artist, concentrating on
graphic design. And Gary, who
attends West Bloomfield High,
has appeared in Oliver at the
Birmingham Theater, does
some modeling and is talking
about a career in communica-
tions.
Where, in the future, will
this multi-talented orthodon-
tist concentrate his abilities?
Probably LaKind will continue
with projects and challenges
similar to those in the past, but
possibly he will become more
involved in such ventures. He
finds his woodworking and
sculpture extremely gratifying
and, certainly, his music will
remain a priority. He also for-
sees doing more serious consul-
tant work as a writer and pro-
ducer of musical productions.
One thing is certain — Dr.
Stuart LaKind will never run
out of ways in which to channel
his creativity.
