New Programs
For Nursery

Temple Israel Nursery
School will begin its eighth
season next fall with the open-
ing of two new programs, it was
announced by Bryna Leib, di-
rector of the school.
A kindergarten for the 1987
school year will be offered.
Classes will be taught either
five half-days or five full days
weekly.
The kindergarten will be lo-
cated in the temple, and will be
equipped and furnished with
brand new furniture.
Staffing will include
teachers and aides who have
years of expertise in teaching
and who have been members of
the nursery school teaching
staff in past years.
The second program to open
the 1987 season will be called
"Movin' On Up," and will serve
as an intermediate step for
children ranging in age from
21/2 to 3Y2 years.
The classes are designed
specifically for children who
have participated in mother-
toddler programs who are now
ready for a once-a-week, two-
hour nursery program. The
class is aimed at easing the
transition from parent-toddler
to full-time nursery program.

Yiddish Vinki
To Meet Sunday

A Yiddish Vinkl (corner)
will be held, 2 p.m. Sunday, at
the Workmen's Circle - Center,
26341 Coolidge, Oak Park. The
vinkle is an opportunity to
hear and speak mamaloshen
(Yiddish).
Several participants will
read short stories. The public
in invited. There is no charge.

The Young Jewish Couples
Club based at the main Jewish
Community Center will spon-
sor a bowling and pizza party
at the West Bloomfield Lanes
on March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Bring
shoes and bowling balls. There

tasting party with a handwrit-
ing analyst in April, an over-
