Ruth Ann Kollin, to Leonard
Kaplan, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Sydney Kaplan of Shaker
Heights, Ohio and Boca Raton,
on Jan. 15, in Dallas, Tex.
Rabbi Kenneth Roseman of
Temple Shalom officiated.
Mrs. Kaplan is a graduate of
the University of Wisconsin
with an associate degree in
animal sciences and a
graduate of Michigan State
University, with a degree in
computer science. She is em-
ployed at Electronic Data Sys-
tems in Rocky River, Ohio.
Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of
Colorado State University in
animal sciences and is a
licensed livestock dealer in the
cattle business in Homerville,
Ohio.
Following their honeymoon
on the island of Maui, the
couple willreside in Homer-
ville.

Southfield City Councilwo-
man Vicki Goldbaum has been
reappointed to the National
League of Cities' community
and economic development
steering committee for 1987.
Goldbaum, who is South-
field's city council president
pro tern, has been a member of
city council since 1977. In her
new national post, Goldbaum
will help the National League
of Cities develop policy
recommendations and reac-
tions to Congressional and
Administration initiatives re-
lating to community and eco-
nomic development.

The Birmingham Temple
will host its eighth annual Las
Vegas Night on March 28 at 8
p.m.
