Photo Exhibit Highlights Women In Jewish History A special feature at the fourth annual Week of the Jewish Woman will be the De- troit premiere • showing of a photographic exhibition: "Car- rying on the NamexWomen Who Changed the World". The exhibit focuses on nine women in Jewish history and portrays how women today re- flect the ideals of their role models. The exhibition was con- ceived by Bracha Mandelbaum of New York; the photography by Marilyn Stern of Detroit, currently living in New York. Ms. Stern's photography is in the permanent collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts and several private collections. It will be displayed at the opening and closing sessions of "The Week," and in the interim will be displayed in Orchard Mall. Women visiting the ex- hibit today will receive a spe- cial gift pack of two Sabbath candles with instructions on the candlelighting ceremony. The culminating event will be a program and luncheon on Sunday, at 10 a.m. at the Lubavitch EdUcation Center, 28555 Middlebelt, Farmington Hills. The program will begin with three workshops entitled "Life Choices For Our Children, For Our Teenagers and Young Adults, and For Ourselves".
