The AZA Council is in the
midst of an Israel-related proj-
ect, whose goal is to collect 200
pounds of pictorial magazines
and send them to a regional
high school in Israel, where
they will be used as teaching

materials. Under the direction
of youth coordinator, Howard
Keller, more than 260 pounds
of magazines have already
been collected and will be ship-
ped by surface mail directly to
Ma'ale Habsor Comprehensive
School near the Gaza Strip.
Thirteen AZA chapters have
participated in the project,
which was suggested by Assis-
tant Director Joel Colman who
taught at the school prior to re-
turning to the Detroit area.
