Gladys Barsamian, presid- ing judge of the Wayne County Juvenile Court. Judge Barsa- mian, a lifelong resident of metropolitan Detroit, is a graduate of Cass Tech High School and received her B.A. and J.D.degrees from Wayne State University. She has been in the practice of law for 17 years, a Wayne County Probate Judge, juvenile division since 1975, and is now the presiding judge of Wayne County Probate Juvenile Division. Her community involve- ment includes the board of di- rectors of the YMCA and the Michigan Association for Emo- tionally Disturbed Children, the community advisory board of the Junior League of Detroit, a member of the United Com- munity Services, New Detroit, Inc. and is past president of the Women's Economic Club board of directors.
