Temple Youth
Conduct Service

Temple Emanu-El's senior
youth group, T.E.M.T.Y., will
lead the Shabbat service at
8:15 p.m. today in the Jospey
Sanctuary. That evening will
also recognize the newly estab-
lished Mason, Steinhardt and
Jacobs Endowment Fund. This
fund will allow at least one
member of T.E.M.T.Y. to
travel to Israel each summer.
The service will be followed by
an oneg and a special "shul-in"
for members of the youth
group.
The sixth grade will have its
special Shabbat dinner on
March 6 at 6 p.m. This will be
followed by the Shabbat family
service at 7:30 p.m.
Faculty Appreciation Shab-
bat will be held March 13. The
evening will begin at 6:30 p.m.
with dinner at which families
of all teachers will -be guests of
the temple. A Shabbat service
and recognition ceremony will
follow at 8:15 p.m. which will
include teacher participation
and special gifts and certifi-
cates.
Temple Emanu-El's annual
Purim carnival, sponsored by
the P.T.O., will be held March
15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Luncheon will be served and
there will be games and prizes.
The public is invited. Tickets
may be purchased at the door
or pre-sale tickets will be sold
at the temple on March 1 and
March 8.

will be Rabbi Sherwin Wine's
final presentation in "The Four
Torahs" series, 8:30 p.m. Mon-
day, at the Birmingham Tem-
ple. There is a charge.
