is currently a surgery resident

Jewish Parents Institute
will sponsor "Voices From
South Africa," a discussion
dealing with apartheid and the
Jewish community in South
Africa, 2 p.m. Sunday, in the
Aaron DeRoy Theatre of the
Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield.
The featured speakers will
be Rabbi Ben Isaacson of Cong.
- Har El of Johannesburg, a
founding member of Jews for
Justice, and Rev. Zachariah
Mokgoebo of the Black Dutch
Reformed Church and a
member of the. Civic Associa-
tion of Soweto. The program is
open to the public and is free of
charge.

A series of six diabetes
classes will be held 7 p.m.
Thursday evenings beginning
March 5, at 9 p.m. at the main
Jewish Community Center.
