rant now that they know it has
opened.
BEAU JACK'S is develop-
ing about a dozen new items
which will be added to its list of
daily specials, but have a de-
signation on the special card of
a heart . . . They will be the
"Eat to your Heart's Content"
item or special of the day .. .
showing up about March 1.
Since Beau Jack's was the
first restaurant in Michigan to
offer the Creative Cuisine Pro-
gram, owners. Gary and dad
Jack Cochran thought it only
fitting to also try and see the
public response to menu selec-
tions for those who might be
eating with them and watch-
ing their diets that apply to the
Heart Association guidelines
. . . "We still feel many people
are looking for this," says
Gary, "but don't want to go to a
`health food restaurant' or are
intimidated to ask the chef to
prepare something special just .
fo them. We will see if this con-
cept is a viable one and if so
incorporate it into our daily
menu. Either way, the present
heart menu will stay."
Gary and Mike Bouchard
will start a limousine service
this spring, called Star Track
Limo Service for celebrity
travel, corporate account
travel, etc . . . Gary and Mike
are also putting together
dinner packages with concert,
theatre, game tickets and limo
service.
By the way, Gary and Jack
are in no way connected with
Maverick's any longer on
Woodward . . . it was sold by
them.
IT'S BIG NEWS when a
gourmet restaurant such as
Mediterranean Kitchen on
Long Lake Rd. west -of Liver- •
nois gets bigger . . . Capacity
has increased from 22 to 26 .
New menu too with addition of .
more appetizers, desserts and
Mediterranean Kitchen spe-
