David Hermelin

can ORT Federation . at the
organization's national confer-
ence held recently in New York
City. Hermelin is immediate

Kibbutz Sasa

Kibbutz Sasa, whose Anna
Frank Haven is internation-
ally known for taking cultur-
ally and economically under-
privileged Israeli children and
integrating them into kibbutz
life, is seeking support for the
construction of a cultural cen-
ter at its Northern Galilee lo-
cation.
Susan Bondy, a nationally
syndicated financial columnist
and former Sasa resident, will
host Dr. Avner Reshef of Sasa
at her Farmington Hills home
for a wine and cheese reception
7 p.m. March 4. Dr. Rashef will
explain the uniqueness of the
kibbutz and the cultural center
project.
Sasa was founded in 1949 by
Americans, several from the
Detroit area.
