o

one could accuse Syl-
via Glover of having a
performer's ego.
Glover is no
stranger to television.
She doesn't have the status of a
Mort Crim, George Sells or Bill
Bonds, but if she can persuade the
Channel 4 powers-that-be that she's
got the right stuff, she'll be as recog-
nizable as the news broadcasters.
Born Sylvia Zimmerman in
Brooklyn, N.Y., the 40ish Glover is a
television entertainment reporter.
She can be seen reporting on rock
concerts, interviewing comedians
and reviewing movies on the 11 p.m.
newscast on Channel 4.
