Mr. and Mrs. Norman A.
Pappas and family have re-
cently created an endowment
fund which will annually pro-
vide financial assistance for
students from the State of
Michigan studying at Bar-Ilan
University. Such scholarship
aid will become available for
the 1987-1988 academic year.

Pappas has been involved for
a long time in activities on be-
half of_the university. He is a
past dinner chairman, has led
United Jewish Appeal mis-
sions to the campus, is cur-
rently on the university's
American board of overseers
and on its Detroit executive
committee.
Mrs. Pappas, in addition to
her Bar-Ilan activities, has
been active in many facets of
the Women's Division, Allied
Jewish Campaign, and is a
longtime member of Hadassah.
