`We Are One' Winners More than 200 youngsters entered the poster contest sponsored by the Jewish Welfare Federation and The Jewish News Contest judges had a difficult time selecting the winning entries in the poster competition marking the 60th anniversary of the Jewish Welfare Federation. Working with the theme "We Are One .. . Partners For Life: What Our Jewish Community Means To Me," entries were submitted from Jewish schools and congregations from throughout the Detroit met- ropolitan area. The contest was co-sponsored by Federation and The Jewish News. Crayon was the favorite medium for the more than 200 youngsters who submitted posters for the contests, but many creative artists utilized stickers, yarn, rib- bon and even candy to decorate their entries. Sinai Hospital, Fed- eration Apartments, Fresh Air Society, the Jewish Community Center and Hebrew Free Loan were the local agencies which were the subject of the majority of the entries.
