A front organization for the
Rev.
Sun Myung Moon's Unifi-
/-
cation Church, whose student
organization status was re-
voked by the Michigan Student
Assembly in 1980, is again
active at the University of
Michigan in Ann Arbor.
According to an article by
Mark Rossen in the Jan. 16
Michigan Daily Weekend, the
Collegiate Association for the
Research of Principals (CARP)
petitioned the student gov-
ernment in the fall of 1985 for
recognition as a student organ-
ization. Apparently no one in
the MSA realized that CARP's
student status had been with-
drawn earlier because of its
Moon affiliation.
Paul Josephson, who was
MSA president when CARP
was readmitted, said that an
investigation into the group is
unlikely now.
"It won't happen unless an
MSA member requests it, or
students complain (about
- CARP)," he said.
CARP has failed to attract
any new members, the Daily
reported.
