Henrietta Hermelin and
Robert Grossman are making
their Detroit Repertory Thea-
ter debuts in the current prod-
uction of Days and Nights
Within. The play runs through
Feb. 15 at the theater, 13103
Woodrow Wilson, Detroit.
An actress and singer,
Hermelin has performed with
many theater companies in
New York and the Midwest
and she toured India with the
American National Theater
Association.
Grossman, an actor and
singer, has performed in major
regional stage productions
throughout the U.S. and on
New York Off Broadway and
Off Off Broadway stages as
well as on several regional
opera theater stages.

The music of Rodgers and
Hammerstein, Cole Porter,
Jerome Kern and George Ger-
shwin will be featured in a
cabaret concert, 8 p.m. Satur-
day, at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
Starring in this event will be
Laurie Meeker, soprano; Mark
Vondrak, baritone; Claritha
Buggs, mezzo soprano; David
Phelps, tenor; with David Wil-
son, pianist-accompanist.

celebrate the 60th birthday of
