schools; provides free legal aid,
including centers for preven-
tion of family violence; and op-
erates clubs and community
centers for Arab and Druse
women.
North American Aliya
Movement believes that the
ultimate Zionist commitment
is to go on aliyah and continue
to build the Jewish nation
within the Jewish homeland. A
grass-roots membership
organization of 5,000 who are
planning to move to Israel
within a short time, NAAM is
dedicated to promoting and
facilitating the aliyah process.
Religious Zionists of
America is the arm of the reli-
gious Zionist movement of Is-
rael. Its branches identify with
Torah V'Avodah ideology and
support the Yeshivot Hesder
and the religious kibbutzim
and moshavim. The religious
Zionist movement, together
with its sister organizations, is
the voice of Orthodoxy in the
World Zionist Organization
and Jewish Agency.
Zionist Student Move-
ment is the voice of Zionism on
American college campuses.
These students display their
leadership through a variety of
Zionist activities. Through
their concern for fellow Jewish
students and the many issues
facing Israel and the Jewish
people, the movement
catalyzes and involves unaffil-
iated students as well as those
already committed.
Zionist Organization o_
America established in 1898,
was a primary founder of the
Zionist Movement in America.
The exponent of general
Zionism, ZOA is committed to
the Jerusalem Program, reli-
gious freedom and Jewish set-
tlement throughout Israel. It
, advocates Jewish unity and re-
jects extremism. Its 130,000
family members support ZOA's
Israel programs at the Kfar
Silver High School and ZOA
House. ZOA attracts
thousands of young people to
Zionism through its Masada
and Young Zionist programs.
