Lincoln Dr. 557-6750 Benjamin Daitch Josh Littman Josh Littman, business/ labor and automotive reporter for WJBK-TV (Channel 2), died Jan. 12 at age 35. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Littman 'came to Detroit in 1984. Previously he was at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Ga., as a political reporter. In 1982, while at WSB, Mr. Littman won the Georgia Associated Press Award for his series, "Southbound and Broke," about the homeless unem- ployed..In Georgia, he was ap- pointed a media observer when the state instituted the death penalty. In Indianapolis, Ind., Mr. Littman was a reporter/anchor at WISH-TV and pioneered the first late night news broadcast, entitled Nightbeat. While at WISH-TV, he won 12 media and community service awards. Previously, he was a news anchor for WIBC radio in Indianapolis. Mr. Littman was graduated from Butler University in In- dianapolis, where he was news and program director of the col- lege radio station. Husband David and son Max Benjamin Daitch, a pharma- cist, died Jan. 11 at age 78. He was a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek for 40 years. Born in Detroit, Mr. Daitch was the former owner of Har- mon Drugs in Detroit and the Medic's Prescription Phar- macy, having sold his businesses in 1969. He was a hospital pharmacist from 1969 to 1977 at Dearborn Medical Center. He was a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, Perfection Lodge of the Masons, Aescula- pian Pharmaceutical Associa- tion, the Michigan Phar- maceutical Association and a 1928 graduate of Wayne State University. He leaves his wife, Gladys; two sons, Harold and Marvin; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Rena) Meyers; two brothers, Samuel and Dr. Martin; three sisters, Mrs. Israel (Anna) Winer, Mrs. Martin (Jenne) Meltzer of Ak- ron, Ohio, and Mrs. Perry (Eve- lyn) Ross of Englewood, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren. Stella Fenton Stella Frances Fenton, a member of Jewish communal organizations, died Jan. 8 at age 86. Born in New York, Mrs. Fen- ton lived 75 years in Detroit. She was a member of Temple Beth El, Hadassah, Sinai Hos- pital Guild, Franklin Hills Country Club. She worked dur- ing World War II at USO can- teens. She leaves two sons, Edgar M. and Robert L.; a daughter, Mrs. Manuel (Dolly) Roten- berg; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
