the bridegroom are Mr. and
Mrs. Peter N. Meyer of

Denenfeld 80th Marked

Yetta Denenfeld of South-
field was honored by her chil-
dren, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren recently
on the occasion of her 80th
birthday.
On Jan. 3, her daughters,
Pearl Moss, Helen Russell of
Toledo, Edde Backalar,
Marsha Radner and Sonia
Katz, hosted a family party at
the Southfield Holiday Inn. At
the party, Mrs. Denenfeld was
treated to a song tribute com-
posed by grandson Gary Rus-
sell of California.
The next day, Mrs. Denen-
feld was treated to a brunch in
the home of her daughter and
son-in-law, Edde and Jack
Backalar, at which her
grandchildren and great-
grandchildren were on hand.
Grandchildren are: Michael
Yabrove of Nova Scotia,
Canada; Gary Russell of
California; Arlene Gildenberg
of Chicago; Ernie Backalar of
Chicago; Elayne Chatlin of In-
dianapolis; Mona Russell of To-
ledo, Ohio; Leslie Radner; Bar-
bara Syphrett, Ronald Katz
and Sharon Aloni of Israel.

Meets Wednesday

The Southfield-Oak Park
support group, Michigan Par-
kinson Foundation, will meet
at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the
Bright Spot at McDonnnell
Towers, 24400 Civic Center
Dr., Southfield.
Guest speaker will be Mau-
reen Walsh, a speech therapist
at Harper Hospital.
