Youth To Twin
His Bar Mitzvah

Jamie Robert Thomson, son
of Shelley and Richard Thom-
son, will celebrate his bar
mitzvah Saturday at the Troy
Jewish Congregation. He will
chant "Vayigash".
Jamie will twin his bar
mitzvah with Simcha Sorin of
Moscow, USSR, whose family
has been denied exit visas from
Russia since 1982.
Jamie is a student at Flynn
Junior High School. He is the
grandson of the late Sam Klet-
ter and George and Helen
Thomson. He is the great-
grandson of May Kletter.

Southfield Offers
Art, Music Classes

Southfield's Classical Music
School, under the direction of
Nikolai Lemberg, will begin its
winter season Monday.
Private and group instruc-
tion is available Monday thru
Saturday. Piano, flute, violin,
Suzuki violin, guitar, trumpet
and composition are offered.
Also recorder, voice chamber
ensemble, solfeggio - music
theory, music history and lit-
erature.

signed a seminar in photog-
raphy. Classes will consist of
