The family services depart-
ment of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center will sponsor the
Second Annual Wacky Mac-
cabiah Relay Races and Games
for the whole family on Sunday
at 3 p.m. at the main Center
complex. Come dressed to par-
ticipate in comfortable clothes
and tennis shoes. Refresh-
ments are included in the fee
for the games.

Beginning Sunday at 1:30
p.m., a jazz dance class for
11-17 year olds will begin at
the main Jewish Center. It will
be taught by Cathy Lichtman.
Ms. Lichtman has a B.A. de-
gree from Bennington and a
M.A. degree from the Univer-
sity of Michigan in dance. She
has performed with profes-
sional companies and has ex-
tensive experience in Teaching
and choreography. She is on
the staff of the National Music
Camp in Interlochen and at
Wayne State university. For

The senior adult department
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter's Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch will celebrate the Cen-
ter's 60th anniversary with a
vaudeville show, "60 Years of
Memory," at 2 p.m. Sunday in
the JPM's Jaffe Hall. There is a
nominal charge.
International and Israeli
folk dancing will take place at
10 a.m. Monday in the JPM's
Jaffe Hall. Everyone is wel-

Phyllis Rochen will review
Lifelines by Joseph Viertel at

The Jewish Center will offer
Israeli folk dance drop-in ses-
sions. The sessions will be held
on Tuesday and Wednesday
evenings and are divided into
three sections. The 7 p.m. class
is for beginners, the 7:30 p.m.
class is for intermediate and
advanced instruction; request
dancing will begin at 8 p.m.
Uri Segal, instructor, is from
Haifa, Israel, and was a
member of the city of Haifa
dance troupe, and taught
dance at various kibbutzim in
the Negev and danced with the
Karmon Dancers. Sandra
Segal, instructor, trained in
Holland with the Ilanot per-
forming dance group.
Classes are also available
Tuesdays, at the Jimmy Pre-
ntis Morris Branch in Oak
Park and at the main building
on Wednesdays.
A ten-week morning class in
Israeli folk dance instruction
will begin, 9:30 a.m. Thursday
at the main building. Shelly
Jackier will be the instructor.
All levels of dancers are ac-
cepted. There is a fee.
