The evening calls for elegance. Like a satin finish
bracelet watch. The round, textured gold-tone dial,
marked with gleaming spheres. Or the rectangular,
golden dial, topped with twin diamonds.
Required dress for all the best occasions.
Lassale. The heritage is obvious.

Arbor was the winner in the
children's division in the De-
troit Free Press holiday storyw-
riting contest. Her story "Can-
dles of Hope" appeared in last
Sunday's Detroit magazine
section.
Written in diary form, the
story describes a Soviet Jewish
girl's secret effort to mark the •
holiday of Chanukah. Her par-
ents feared being discovered
lighting a menorah, but Mal-
kelah marks the holiday by
placing pebbles on a hand-
drawn menorah. Miriam's
story was chosen from more
than 200 entries.
