Lubavitch 'Light The Land'

Seven Lubavitch rabbinical
students will go through the
smaller metropolitan areas in
southern Michigan to bring the
spirit of the Maccabbees to all
Jews in the Lubavitch Light
the Land 1986 Program this
Chanukah. The' are: Kasriel
Shemtov, Mendel Shemtov,
Gedalia Shemtov, Leivi
Raizes, Avrumi Lipzic, and
Mendel Pewsner.
The seven will bring their
programs to Traverse City, on
Sunday, to Escanaba on Mon-
day, to Toledo on Tuesday and
to Marquette on Wednesday
where they will be at the

Sawyer Air Force Base and the
Marquette Prison. They will
also be in Sault Ste. Marie and
Kalamazoo on Thursday.
There will also be a Call-
A-Maccabee telephone line for
those people in the Okemos,
Iron Mt., Houghton and Han-
cock areas.
The Local Lubavitch organ-
ization also will provide
Chanukah programs. The
children from Rabbi Zaklos
class at the Lubavitch cheder
in Farmington Hills will sing
and entertain at local nursing
homes. The Mighty Mini-
Maccabbees will sing at 2:30
