Michael Maddin

Diane J. Klein and Michael
W. Maddin have been named
chairmen of the Allied
Jewish Campaign 1987 Super

Sunday telethon, to be held
Feb. 1.
The event is the Cam-
paign's annual telephone ap-
peal to thousands of house-
holds throughout the com-
munity, with several hundred
volunteers phoning from the
United Hebrew Schools in
Southfield.
Mrs. Klein is a member of
the Federation Women's Di-
vision Executive Committee.
She serves on the JWF
Commission on Identity and
Affiliation and has held sev-
eral key roles in the Women's
Division Allied -Jewish Cam-
paign. She has been chair-
man of the Bar and Bat
Mitzvah Twinning Program
of the Jewish Community
Council's Soviet Jewry Com-
mittee and was president of
the Greater Detroit Chapter
of Hadassah.
Maddin, who served as
missions chairman for the
1986 Campaign, is a past
chairman of the Campaign's
Real Estate and Building
Trades Division. He is a reci-
pient of the William H.
Boesky and Frank A.
Wetsman Memorial Leader-
ship Awards and a former
member of the United Jewish
Appeal National Young
Leadership Cabinet. Execu-
tive Committee. In addition
to his Federation activities,
Maddin is a past president of
the Fresh Air Society and is
on the boards of Detroit
