Salicoff, an ac- countant and systems analyst for General Motors for the past 47 years, died Dec. 12 at age 88. Born in London, England, Mr. Salicoff worked for the election board. He founded the General Motors Retirees Luncheon Club upon his re- tirement 23 years ago. A computer expert, Mr. Salicof helped program the computer system for Sinai Hospital, for which he volunteered. Charles Shere Charles N. Shere, an attor- ney specializing in trial and business law, died Dec. 13 at age 75. Born in Chicago,. Ill., Mr. Shere was a practicing attor- ney for more than 55 years. He was graduated from Cass Tech, Detroit College of Law (1931) at age 20 and had to wait until age 21 to practice in the courtroom. He was twice president of Cong. B'nai David and in- strumental in moving the congregation from Detroit to Southfield. He also was past president of his law frater- nity. Mr. Shere was honored for 50 years in the legal pro- fession. He chaired the mat- zah fund at B'nai David to ensure Passover for people all over the world. He leaves his wife, Eleanor; a son, Joel; a daugh- ter, Mrs. Coleman (Nanci) Klein; and four grandsons.
