Services Offered

Center for Creative Studies
- Institute of Music and
Dance will add music therapy
services to its programming
at IMD/North, located in the
International School at 13
Mile Road and Evergreen.
Beginning in January, the
institute will offer Chime
Choir as well as Orff Schul-
werk for children with special
needs. Private music therapy
services will also become
available.
Chime Choir utilizes mod-
ified English handbells to
provide small group experi-
ences for students between
the ages of 7 and 15. Music
Therapy Orff Schulwerk
classes are designed for chil-
dren age 3 to 10 to attend
with a parent. The course is
based on singing, clapping,
chanting rhymes, and keep-
ing a beat on anything near
at hand.

The Attic Theatre's Con-

The ten-week winter term
at the Birmingham Bloom-
field Art Association begins
Jan. 12.
