Morris and Martha Burns-
tein of Southfield celebrated
their 50th anniversary on
Nov. 30 at a party at the
Quality Inn of Pontiac with
their family and friends.
The party was given by
their children, Rita Starr,
Joseph Burnstein and San-
ford Burnstein and their re-
spective spouses: Joseph

For Blood Donations

The Jewish Community
Council and its 270 affiliated
organizations are cooperating
with the Red Cross to recruit
600 blood donors at two sites.
Dec. 29 through 31.
Donor sites are: the board
room of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center in West Bloom-
field, beginning 2 p.m. Dec.
29, noon, Dec. 30 and 8 a.m.
Dec. 31; and the Red Cross
Oak Park Donor Center,
25900 Greenfield, beginning
10 a.m. Dec. 29, 2 p.m. Dec.
30 and 9 a.m. Dec. 31.

Adat Shalom Synagogue
will host the city-wide slide
show and information session
for Camp Ramah 7 p.m. Sun-
day. A representative from
the camp will be present to
speak about the program and
to answer questions.
Camp Ramah in Ontario is
the camping arm of the Con-
servative movement, under
the auspices of the National
Ramah Commission of the
Jewish Theological Seminary.
Preceeding the slide show,
there will be a "mini-
reunion" for campers and
staff from 1985 and 1986.
