IN THE AN 1 . .5 1 Getting all the facts straight. Novi—Some people have been misinformed about the new B'Nai Israel Memorial Gardens as being non sectarian. This is false, as we are a strictly Jewish cemetery obeying all the laws of Jewish burial. In fact this is the first Jewish cemetery in almost 45 years! Also some people think we are part of Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens. We are not! Again, we are not a garden, section or part of Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, although we engage the same professional maintenance crews. B'Nai Israel Memorial Gardens is a separate entity and have their own entrance, name and address. We are not affiliated with this adjacent cemetery. We are a division of The Michigan Cemetery Management Inc. Another area we would like to clear up is the subject of perpetual care. Today there is an irrevocable trust fund regulated by Michigan law to insure the perpetual maintenance, development and beautification of the cemetery grounds and grave sites. In essence, family and relatives will never be asked to maintain the grave or be called upon to pay for anything for upkeep in the future! We hope this sets all the facts straight that B'Nai Israel Memorial Gardens is not non sec- tarian, not part of Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens and that your purchase does include perpetual care.
