Elects Officers

At the annual meeting of
Great Lakes Yacht Club, held
Nov. 18, the following officers
were nominated and elected.
Commodore, Larry Aronoff;
vice commodore, Michael Sal-
ter; rear commodore, David
Naples; secretary, John Ro-
sen; treasurer, Donald
Nitzkin.
Two year directors are: Lil-
lian Gallant, James Gell,
Elmer Raskin, Donald Schil-
ler and Leon Sears. One year
directors are: Robert Orloff,
Joseph Savin and Norma
Jean Shufro; Ex-officio, Paul
Goodman (past commodore).

Jack Berman of the Jewish
War Veterans has been
elected president of the newly
formed Southfield Veterans'
Organization.
Elected with him were:
Harold Ca'rroll. (VFW), vice
president; Jack Schwartz
(Jewish War Veterans), sec-
retary; Walter "Larry"
Gooden (VFW), treasurer;
and Wayne Smith (American
Legion), chaplain.
The group plans to work
with the Southfield Human
Resources Department to
create programs and activi-
ties that meet the needs of
local veterans.
