Borman Hall resident Rose Barth participating in the Israeli
Project Renewal group's afternoon concert last week. Tuesday
evening, the group performed at the Jewish Community Center
as part of their national tour.

Fresh Air Offers
Camping For Teens

The Fresh Air Society will
offer the following programs
for teens entering ninth to
12th grades:
The 32-day Western Teen
Trip will take teens
backpacking in the Rocky
Mountain National Park,
rock climbing in Colorado,
white water rafting in Utah,
caving in North Dakota and
touring the Zion and Yel-
lowstone National Parks.
Three separate trips leave
June 23, June 28, and July
28.
The 21-day Atlantic Sea-
board Adventure will leave
Aug. 2 for spelunking in In-
diana, backpacking in the
Great Smokey Mountains
National Park in Tennessee,
snorkeling in the Cape Hat-
teras National Seashore in
North Carolina, canoeing in
the Merchants Mill Pond in
North Carolina, rock climb-
ing in West Virginia and
white water rafting in
Pennsylvania. The group is
also scheduled to attend the
Grand Ole Opry in Nashville,
Tenn.
The 42-day Alaskan Ad-
venture will begin June 24
and take participants
backpacking in Banff, Al-
berta, touring the historic
mining town of Skagway,
backpacking the Chilkoot
Trail, panning for gold in the
Yukon, canoeing in the
Kenai Peninsula, and hiking
the Portage Glacier in An-
chorage, Alaska.
The Charles N. Agree Out-
post camp will offer the
Canadian Wilderness Trip,
the Advanced Canadian

Wilderness Trip, and the Ul-
timate Canadian Wilderness
Trip. These programs will in-
clude hiking along the Lake
Superior coast and the
Agawa Canyon, with canoe
trips in the wilderness areas
of northern Ontario, plus
rock climbing, rappeling, and
windsurfing.
Camp Kennedy will hold
two 28-day sessions begin-
ning June 18 and July 23.
Canoe trips along the Pic-
tured Rocks of Lake Superior
and the wilderness areas of
Canada are planned, plus
waterskiing, sailing and
swimming at its campsite in
the Upper Peninsula.
These trips and programs
are sponsored by Tamarack
Camps, Fresh Air Society, a
member agency of the Jewish
Welfare Federation. For in-

Architect

Washington (JTA) —
James Ingo Freed, of I.M.Pei
and Partner, has been sel-
ected as the design architect
for the United States Holo-
caust Memorial Museum, it
was announced last week by
Arthur Rosenblatt, the
museum's director.
Freed, 56, was the principal
design architect for the
newlycompleted Jacob Javits
Exposition and Convention
Center in New York City.
Born in Essen, Germany, he
