Samuel E. Gottlieb, for-.
merly of Southfield, now re-
siding in Tamarac, Fla., has
established a grove of 1,000
trees in memory of his wife,
Sadie, in the B'nai B'rith
Forest in Kessalon, Israel,
under the auspices of the
Jewish National Fund. The
grove will be jointly spon-
sored by his sons, Richard,
Gerald and Alan.
Mrs. Gottlieb, who died at
age 75, had been active on
behalf of Soviet Jewry, Bran-
deis University National
Women's Committee, Hadas-
sah and Cong. Beth Achim.
She had also been active in
the Tamarac Convalescent
Center in Florida and the
Ramblewood School for Re-
tarded Children in Florida.
This is the second grove
planted in the Gottlieb name.
In 1961, B'nai B'rith estab-
lished a grove in honor of
Gottlieb.
