Rabbi Gedalya Goldman is the scion of a Chassidic fam- ily. He is the youngest member of the Moatzet Datith, the religious board of the city of Jerusalem. The Zeviheler institutions in Jerusalem specialize in education, tzedakah and the teaching of Torah and chasidut. The Zeviheler institutions in- clude the yeshivah, a kollel, an ulpan, Talmud Torah, dormitory-dining room, youth organization for non-students, a free loan fund, marriage assistance fund and groups geared for the study of Gem- ara and Mishnayot.
