Sinai Becomes 'Sister'
To Israeli Hospital

Sinai Hospital of Detroit
and the Assaf Harofeh Medi-
cal Center in Israel recently
joined hands to become "sis-
ter" hospitals. The two in-
stitutions are planning to col-
laborate on a variety of proj-
ects.
Assaf Harofeh is a 650-bed
hospital which treats more

than 300,000 people each
year. It serves the Ramle,
Lod and Rishon Le Zion
areas, and is a referral center
for the inhabitants of Judea
an Samaria.
Ramle, is being assisted by
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion as part of "Project Re-
newal."
