accreditation as a com-.
prehensive rehabilitation
program by the Commission
on Accreditation of Rehabili-
tation Facilities (CARF).

Free Diabetes
Testing Offered

Sinai Hospital of Detroit
will provide free post-
prandial (after a meal) blood
tests at 9 a.m. today and
Saturday. The American
Diabetes Association is spon-
soring the testing program,
designed to find people with
undiagnosed diabetes.
The two-hour test is not for
people who have already been
diagnosed as diabetic. Tests
are available at two loca-
tions: in the main lab and the
outpatient lab on the ground
floor of the Blumberg Build-
ing. For information, call

Book 'Battle'
Meeting Set

The Southfield Public Li-
brary will hold an organiza-
tional meeting for its "Battle
of the Books" children's read-
ing program, 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, in the Marcotte
Room. The "battle" is similar
to the College Bowl television
program.
