Katz Grove
Is Planted

Israel Tour
For Retirees

Norma Katz

Zionist Organization of
America will sponsor a
three-months' winter experi-
ence in Israel for retirees
aged 50 and above.
Conceived as an alternative
to spending the winter season
in Florida or Arizona, the
program provides for the re-
tirees to spend three months
(from December to March, or
January to April) in
Natanya, Israel's "Riviera" in
a four-star hotel on a full-
board basis.
Participants will be offered
a four-hour voluntary work-
program such as auxiliary
work in a hospital, tutoring

Norma Katz recently re-
turned from Israel where she
dedicated a grove of 1,000
trees in memory of her hus-
band, Max. The grove is
planted in the American In-
dependence Park outside the
city of Jerusalem.
Mr. Katz, active in numer-
ous charities in Detroit, died
last June.
Mrs. Katz is active in B'nai
B'rith, the Ladies of Oak
Park and Wives of Masons.
She has two children and
three grandchildren.
For information on how to
establish a project in Israel,
call JNF, 557-6644.
