Following the panel, there
will be an open question and
answer period. There will
also be a petition-signing and
letter-writing campaign in
conjunction with the sym-
posium. SSSJ will also for-
mally announce the release of
Tanya and Benjy Bagomolny,
and the adoption of a new
family, Yuri and Nelu
Srpeizman.

Story Hour Group
Meets Saturday

B'nai David Story Hour has
begun weekly meetings for
children age 4 to 7. The
group gathers at 10 a.m.
Saturdays for Shabbat stories
and songs, as well as games
and a. special children's kid-
dush. Friends are welcome.
The group will meet on
Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the
synagogue for a mystery car
ride. There will be surprises
and refreshments for all chil-
dren. For reservations or to
sign up for the Story Hour
mailing list, contact group
leader Joyce Lang, 851-6168,
evenings.

Synagogue Groups
Go To Book Fair

Cong. B'nai Moshe Sister-
hood and Men's Club will go
to the Jewish Book Fair to
hear Wolf Blazer, author of
Shcharansky: The Long
Journey Home, on Nov. 11.
Members should meet at
6:45 p.m. at the B'nai Moshe
parking lot where a chartered
bus will take them to the
Jewish Community Center.
Reservations are necessary
by Saturday and there is a
charge for the bus. Contact
Doris and David Schey for in-
formation, 545-7112.

Stroke Club

A club for stroke victims,
their families and friends,
will meet at 1 p.m. the first
Wednesday of each month
beginning Wednesday, at the
Royal Oak Senior Commu-
nity Center, 312 Main St.
There is no charge.
