"Stepping Up," a one-half
day per week nursery pro-
gram for children at least
2 1/2 years old, will begin at
Temple Emanu-El nursery
school in January.
Enrollment is also being
taken for a parent-toddler
class beginning in January.
A limited number of openings
are available in the regular
nursery program, with half-
and full-day options, ex-
tended hours and lunch pro-
gram.
Children do not need to be
toilet trained for the "Step-
ping Up" class.

annual Harvest Moon Ball, 8
p.m. Sunday, at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek. The dance is
sponsored by the B'nai B'rith
Men's and Women's Councils
of Metropolitan Detroit.

The Jewish Theological
Seminary of America will
offer an educational program
on Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Chair-
man for the program is Sha-
ron Hart.
Mrs. Hart currently is first
vice president of Hillel Day
School and treasurer of Adat
Shalom Synagogue. She is a
member of the board of gov-
ernors of the Jewish Welfare
Federation and a vice
president of the Jewish Fam-
ily Service.
She also served as 1985-
1986 chairman of the
Women's Division of the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign. Mrs.
Hart served as first co-
chairman of the Detroit
city-wide dinner on behalf of
the Jewish Theological Semi-
nary.
