Kaczander will de- velop Jewish student and fa- culty activities on campuses throughout the greater De- troit area. At present, Hillel programs exist only at Wayne State University and Oakland Uni- versity. No formal Jewish programming exists at any other institutes of higher learning in the Detroit area. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Kas- zander has served on the Parent Advisory Committee to Oakland County for Spe-. cial Education, and has coor- dinated a peer assistant pro- gram at the Oak Park SMI/ SXI Center. She is also on the executive board of the Oak Park SMI/ SXI Center Parents' Associa- tion.
