The Jewish Welfare Feder-
ation's annual Young Leader-
ship Awards for outstanding
service and promise will be
presented Tuesday to Dr. Dan
G. Guyer, his wife Cheryl,
and Bernard Kent.
The presentation will be
made at a meeting of Federa-
tion's Board of Governors.
The Frank A. Wetsman
and Sylvia Simon Greenberg
awards provide for the reci-
pients' attendance at the
General Assembly of the
Council of Jewish Federa-
tions in November.
Dr. Guyer, who receives
the Wetsman Award, is
chairman of the Medical
Physicians Section of the Al-
lied Jewish Campaign. He
serves on Federation's Cul-
ture and Education Division,
as well as its Project Renewal
committee. President of Hillel
Day School, Guyer also is a
member of the UJA National
Campaign Cabinet.
A board member of Federa-
tion's Women's Division, Mrs.
Guyer is an adviser to the

Memorial Award will be pre-
sented to Kent in recognition
of his leadership efforts with
the Young Adult Division. It
provides for the honoree's
attendance at the joint
UJA/CJF Young Leadership
Conference.
Kent is chairman of the
YAD Executive Committee
and an adviser to this year's
Campaign. Last year's YAD
men's Campaign chairman,
he is a liaison to the Federa-
tion Capital Needs Division.
Kent also serves on the
Jewish Community Center
board, and the board of the
International Network of
Children of Holocaust Sur-
vivors.

dinner to be held at the Fair-
lane Manor on Nov. 23 at 6

The dinner will be the oc-

Torah Award to Norman Be-

event will be the 38th
President of the United
States, Gerald R. Ford.
